Recorde-se que a remo\u00e7\u00e3o, quantifica\u00e7\u00e3o e tipifica\u00e7\u00e3o do lixo marinho arrojado \u00e0s praias do concelho de Esposende \u00e9 uma das a\u00e7\u00f5es do projeto E-Redes, aprovado no \u00e2mbito do concurso Small Grants Scheme#1 dos EEA Grants, atrav\u00e9s do qual a Isl\u00e2ndia, o Liechtenstein e a Noruega estabelecem o objetivo de reduzir as disparidades sociais e econ\u00f3micas na Europa.
Este projeto prev\u00ea um estudo-piloto promovido pelo Munic\u00edpio, em parceria com a empresa municipal Esposende Ambiente, a Universidade do Minho e a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Defesa do Ambiente – Rio Neiva, e visa fomentar o uso de redes biodegrad\u00e1veis e, consequentemente, a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do material pl\u00e1stico sint\u00e9tico no oceano.
De real\u00e7ar ainda que o projeto E-Redes contribui para o cumprimento das metas dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel da Agenda 2030, da ONU, nomeadamente no que se refere ao ODS 11 – Cidades e comunidades sustent\u00e1veis, ODS 12 \u2013 Produ\u00e7\u00e3o e consumos sustent\u00e1veis, ODS 14 – Proteger a Vida Marinha e ao ODS 17 – Parcerias para o Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
